Bushland Conservation Pty Ltd is a private, not-for-profit company. Its sole objective, as clearly stated in its charter, is: “to purchase and/or lease land in its natural state in order to secure the same from exploitation and to protect and preserve existing landscapes, flora and fauna” 

As a ‘Propriety Limited’ company, Bushland Conservation is legally restricted to a maximum of fifty shareholdings, each of which may comprise of an individual or a group of persons.

The Company is managed by a group of Directors, a Treasurer and a Company Secretary, all working on a voluntary basis. Directors are usually elected by shareholders of the Company at an Annual General Meeting.
